The purpose of all life is experience.
The Physical World is a school of experience, a sort of model school or experiment station which teaches man to work correctly in the invisible worlds.
But man must return many times before he can hope to master all the knowledge in the world of sense.
It is a demonstrable fact that we learn more from our mistakes than from our successes and that the proper light in which to regard this Physical World is as a school of valuable education, experience, and tests in which we learn lessons of the utmost importance.
(Ref., Pages 31, 32, 131, 132, and chapter on Rebirth and Law of Consequence, Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception.)
The Christ exhorted us to be not overly anxious as to what we shall eat and drink and clothe ourselves with. Therefore, rather than riches seek to live lives of love and service and lay up treasures in heaven.
No matter what our condition, what our station in life, whether it be the lowest of the lowly or the highest of the high, the important thing to remember is, that if we work and pray, pray and work, and make our lives a living prayer for opportunities to serve others, then all earthly things will come of their own accord as we need them, and they will keep coming in larger measure according to the degree to which they are used in the service to God.
If we regard ourselves only as stewards and custodians of whatever earthly goods we possess then we are really poor in spirit so far as the evanescent earthly treasures are concerned, but rich in the more lasting treasures of the Kingdom of Heaven.
And if we are not out and out materialists surely this is a practical attitude, because our Heavenly Father knows that we need material things and if we will but trust Him, He will supply our every need.
"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you," is neither a vague admonition nor a mere figure of speech, but a literal fact in His kingdom that we should live and practice in our daily lives.
We who are engaged in the so-called secular work of the world and are forced to do things that seem sordid often feel that we are hampered and hindred on that account, but if we do all things unto the Lord and are faithful over a few things we shall find that in time opportunities will come of which we do not dream because
all work is performed in the spiritual sense is coequal.

We determine Vocation and Finance by the 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 10th houses.
Is judged by the 10th house sign, ruler thereof, planets therein, and the ruler of this horoscope. Also consider the house which contains the majority of planets, and the 6th house (service performed).
(Ref., Page 444, Message of the Stars.)
Determined by 2and house, ruler of sign on its cusp, planets therein, the sign Taurus and the Planets Jupiter and Saturn.

1] Write 300 words or over on this boy's vocational and financial possibilities using your powers of induction and deduction for continuity of thought, coherence of detail, and simplicity of expression.
2] State briefly what you think to be the two best professions for this boy to follow, and why.
3] State briefly his financial prospects.

1] Write a brief paragraph describing this boy's moral status.
This boy is impressionable and easy-going (Sun in Cancer) and too imaginative and negative for his own good, (Venus in Cancer), therefore he will be rather of a dual, moral nature. Strong, secret passions, (Venus in Cancer). Terrific desires to gratify these passions, (Venus' parallel Saturn -- Sun parallel Mars), with ensuing trouble with the opposite sex, (Venus parallel Saturn). However, the other side of his nature, his higher mind, ruled by Jupiter, inclines him naturally to a morally clean life, and one of virtue, (Jupiter in Leo, parallel to Midheaven), with much ability to control his passions and cravings, (Jupiter trine Uranus). If he contacts the right people, the right spiritual teachings and endeavors to live to the highest ideals he knows, this boy will rise above his lower nature, especially in later life, (Jupiter in the 4th house). The good aspects of Neptune sextile Venus and Sun, as well as Jupiter trine Uranus, lend moral strength that should grow as he develops in harmony with the finer instincts.
2] Write a brief paragraph on his emotional nature.
The boy's emotional nature is negative also, and easily aroused and swayed, (Venus in Cancer). He is inherently sensual and self-indulgent to a degree with regard to his passions, and not always able to exercise control or restraint in his likes and dislikes, (Mars square Neptune). He is vacillating and imaginative and could easily come under the domination of discarnate entities (Mars square Neptune). However, he again has many good qualities to offset the above. Uranus trine Jupiter tends to sublimate his emotional, explosive, erratic outbursts, secret passions and attachments (Uranus square Moon), and Mars trine Saturn will give him the determination and energy to "Overcome" if he will but try.
3] Study the mental qualifications of this boy with special regard to Mercury; its sign, house position and its aspects.
Write three hundred words or over on his mental tendencies.
Mercury follows the Sun in our chart, therefore this boy will learn more by afterthought. The lessons of life will contact him through the school of hard knocks and experience.
Mercury in Leo gives high ideals and aspirations; a positive, strong, and persevering intellect which scorns to stoop to low and mean acts. This boy may be blunt and outspoken, but he is also kind-hearted and sympathetic. He will have good organizing ability and will make a capable leader. A lover of children and fond of pleasure and amusement.
Mercury in the Third House is strong because this is the "natural" house of this planet. This position will heighten the mental qualities of this boy; it will make his mind serene and optimistic, and inclined to study and research work. He will probably make many short journeys.
The opposition of Saturn will cause delays in his plans and projects, and these obstructions in his path will tend to make him bitter and sarcastic, but his good aspects will easily help him to overcome these occasional trials and tests.
The parallel of Saturn will give him depth of mind sufficient for him to learn the reason for the delays and obstacles that come up. He will learn to work with the laws of Nature through the help of this parallel, and he will think and plan beforehand and so prepare for all emergencies.
Mercury sextile Mars gives a' keen, sharp, ingenious and resourceful mentality. It gives enthusiasm and the ability to imbue others with enthusiasm. There is indicated in this configuration a great love of argument and debate and also an inexhaustible fund of wit and humor, with a goodly share of sarcasm which usually strikes its mark.
Dexterity is innate and his ability to turn, a hand to whatever task comes up with speed and facility will stand him in marvelous stead during the many interims of his career which will undoubtedly tax his adroitness to the utmost.
The parallel to Mars strengthens these energetic and dextrous qualities mentioned above.
If this boy should become a writer or lecturer he would speak or write with miraculous conviction and forceful power.
